New This Week

See what’s new at Trinity – announcements, registrations, updates, and highlights for this week.

Author and historian Jim Pingel will be speaking at Trinity, sharing his knowledge of the American Revolution and using it to help us better understand the scriptures and to reflect on the grace of God, given to us in Jesus Christ. Join us between services on October 11th for this special presentation in honor of our nation’s 250th anniversary. Dr. Pingel is a professor at Concordia University and the author of Sacred Inspiration, a book that weaves lessons from the Revolutionary War into Gospel centered devotions.

The LWML is collecting items to assemble Baby Care Kits and Personal Care Kits for Lutheran World Relief. We will be collecting these items during the month of July. Two display boards have been set up which show the items we are collecting. The boards can be found in the rear of the church and in the Gathering Room. Please take a list or a pictured item from the board to help you remember items we need. Donations should be placed by the LWML table at the bottom of the stairs going up to the Gathering Room. Thank you for your generosity.

Please help support the Kagerbauer family as Catrina recovers from hand surgery. During her recovery, preparing meals and managing daily household tasks will be more challenging. Providing a meal is a simple way to show care and help lighten the load for the family during this time. If you are able, please sign up to bring a meal. Whether it’s a homemade dinner, takeout, or a gift card for a local restaurant, every act of kindness is greatly appreciated.

Ongoing & Upcoming

Events, sign-ups, and opportunities that are still active – don’t miss out!

Join us for a time of intentional prayer and fellowship! We meet Fridays from 8:30–9:30 am at the Ministry House.

Do you have a passion for prayer? Want to grow deeper with God and make new friends? All are welcome to join. Come, be part of this growing community of prayer!

Just show up or contact the office to get involved.

Each Friday morning, a group of women (men are also welcome!) gathers at the Ministry House to lift up prayers for our church, school, and childcare ministries. We also pray for requests submitted through pew prayer cards, online, or the prayer room at the Ministry House.

We would love to pray for you! We welcome your prayers—whether requests, thanksgiving, or praise. Please share as you feel comfortable so we can join you in prayer. We’ll share how to submit your requests soon.

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God (Romans 8:26-27, ESV).

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our African Missions Festival on Sunday, May 24. It was a wonderful day of worship, fellowship, music, food, and fun as our community gathered to support the work God is carrying out through African missionaries.

While the event has passed, donations will continue to be collected through June 30.

For the past 17 years, Trinity has raised more than $877,000 to support African missions. Your generosity continues to make a meaningful impact in sharing the Gospel and supporting ministry efforts abroad.

Donations may still be made:

  • Through our website
  • By using the donation form in the gathering room entrance
  • Through the church office

We praise God that He allows us to be part of this life-changing work.

Raise Right (f/k/a Scrip) will collected weekly.

Please have all orders in by 8:00 am on these dates. For questions, please contact Jen Traska at 262-424-2667 or Jen.traska@gmail.com.

Need holiday gift cards? Interested in reducing your tuition? RaiseRight can help with that! Purchase gift cards for groceries, gas stations, home improvement, restaurants and everything in between while helping earn money for your child’s tuition or another family’s tuition at Trinity. Alternatively, you also provide support for the church. The savings add up quickly!

RaiseRight is a gift card program in which you purchase gift cards and a portion of your rebate goes towards tuition. Let me give you an example. If you purchase a $100 gift card that has a 9% rebate, you will receive a $100 gift card and then your rebate would be $9. Of the $9 rebate, $8.10 (90%) would go towards your tuition for the following year. The remaining $.90 (10%) of the rebate goes towards UPS shipping costs with the remainder going to church.

RaiseRight orders can be placed on-line (for physical gift cards, re-loadable gift cards, or eGift Cards). All orders should be submitted prior to the start of school on Monday and your physical gift card order will be available at the end of the week. If placing an order for a reloadable gift card or eGift card, these orders can be done at any time and do not have deadlines. A printed order form (found on Trinity’s website) can also be submitted prior to the start of school on Monday and these forms are also located outside the school office. Please note, not all brands are on the paper order form as there are hundreds of brands and denominations to choose from. The submission box is located outside the office. All orders need to be in by Monday at 7:50am.

Website and list of brands can be found here.

Have questions or need our organization’s enrollment code? Contact Jen Traska at jen.traska@gmail.com

Sometimes people in recovery find it difficult to connect at church. One of Trinity’s partners in Saukville hosts a unique service each Tuesday evening called Recovery Church. In AA language, Recovery Church Saukville is an “Open” speaker meeting with live worship music. The messages focus on recovery from drug addiction and alcoholism, and how the gospel of Jesus Christ truly sets us free. Come as you are for a warm, welcoming, friendly, messy, raw opportunity to be real with Jesus, our Higher Power.
Recovery Church meets at 7pm on Tuesdays at River of Life in Saukville. Contact Pastor Carl or visit https://recovery.church to learn more.

Christian Family Solutions (a Wisconsin Synod Lutheran ministry) now offers self-guided, online courses, accessible to all. CFS clinicians provide educational programs on topics related to mental health, relationships, parenting, and other topics related to navigating life in this world. These are no or low-cost opportunities, supported by donations. Learn more at cfslearning.org.
