Our community gathers to celebrate and support African missionaries and the work that God is carrying out through them. Your generosity continues to make a profound difference. Over the last 17 years, Trinity has raised more than $877,000 to support African missions. Donations can be made now through June 30 via our website, at the festival, or by using the donation form found in the gathering room entrance.

We praise God that He allows us to be a part of this life-changing work!

Joining in His Mission – Together!

Thanks to Diane and Tom Klug, Al Dobberfuhl, Ellie Pipkorn, Peggy Schoessow, Audrey Aiken, Tim Schoessow, and the Trinity Maintenance Staff for helping to set up for Easter breakfast! The 100 people who attended enjoyed a lovely meal. The Pipkorn Family Baritone Band added a beautiful element when they played the Doxology after Pastor Schram’s prayer. Thanks also to all the attendees who jumped in to help take down and clean up.

MANY THANKS to the congregation for supporting Mite Month. Your March donations totaled $374.02 which will help fulfill the mission grants of the LWML-SWD. The goal is nearly 100% complete, with the grant to the historic Milwaukee Trinity Lutheran Church being paid. The next (5 Sunday) Mite Month is May and in June the LWML-SWD will be voting on the grant requests for the 2026-2028 Biennium. Be sure to pick up your own Mite box near the lower entry.

I was recently extended a call to be one of the math teachers at Lutheran High School South in St. Louis, Missouri. I have spent the last few weeks in deep prayer and conversation with loved ones as I contemplated both my call to serve at Trinity and my call to teach at the high school. After careful deliberation, I have decided to accept the call to Lutheran South. This decision was incredibly difficult, but I am trusting God’s Will and I have peace knowing that He is in control!

My time at Trinity has been a huge blessing. I am passionate about this place and its people! God is at work here, and it is a blessing to be a part of it. Taking this call takes me away from Wisconsin, but it allows me to live closer to family and better fulfill that vocation.

I want to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible privilege of teaching your children. This has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life, and leaving Trinity will be one of the most challenging. While this decision allows me to prioritize family, I will genuinely miss my Trinity family.

Thank you for your prayers, support, and kindness over the past 6 years. I look forward to my remaining time at Trinity, and I know that God will continue to bless the ministry here!

Our students have been hard at work preparing Matilda Jr., and we invite you to come support them!

May 8 at 6:00 pm and May 9 at 2:00 pm & 6:00 pm

No tickets are required. A free-will donation will be collected at the door. Please note that streaming is not available.

We hope you’ll join us to encourage these students and enjoy a wonderful performance together!

During the month of April, Beautiful Savior is to supporting the work of Soles For Jesus — a ministry dedicated to sharing the love of Christ by distributing shoes to underserved communities throughout sub-Saharan Africa. In addition to giving financially, they will be hosting a shoe drive from April 12 through May 17. Please drop off your donations of gently used shoes in the Church Gathering Room entryway. What may seem ordinary to us often becomes a life-changing treasure for someone across the globe.

Raise Right (f/k/a Scrip) will collected weekly.

Please have all orders in by 8:00 am on these dates. For questions, please contact Jen Traska at 262-424-2667 or Jen.traska@gmail.com.

Need holiday gift cards? Interested in reducing your tuition? RaiseRight can help with that! Purchase gift cards for groceries, gas stations, home improvement, restaurants and everything in between while helping earn money for your child’s tuition or another family’s tuition at Trinity. Alternatively, you also provide support for the church. The savings add up quickly!

RaiseRight is a gift card program in which you purchase gift cards and a portion of your rebate goes towards tuition. Let me give you an example. If you purchase a $100 gift card that has a 9% rebate, you will receive a $100 gift card and then your rebate would be $9. Of the $9 rebate, $8.10 (90%) would go towards your tuition for the following year. The remaining $.90 (10%) of the rebate goes towards UPS shipping costs with the remainder going to church.

RaiseRight orders can be placed on-line (for physical gift cards, re-loadable gift cards, or eGift Cards). All orders should be submitted prior to the start of school on Monday and your physical gift card order will be available at the end of the week. If placing an order for a reloadable gift card or eGift card, these orders can be done at any time and do not have deadlines. A printed order form (found on Trinity’s website) can also be submitted prior to the start of school on Monday and these forms are also located outside the school office. Please note, not all brands are on the paper order form as there are hundreds of brands and denominations to choose from. The submission box is located outside the office. All orders need to be in by Monday at 7:50am.

Website and list of brands can be found here.

Have questions or need our organization’s enrollment code? Contact Jen Traska at jen.traska@gmail.com

Beyond Trinity

Community happenings, partner ministries, and Lutheran organizations beyond our campus.

It’s almost spring and a good time to clean out some of your closets. Beautiful Savior will be holding a rummage sale on July 18th for gently used items that you are ready to part with. We are starting to collect items now and will be happy to accept your donations for the sale. We can accept household items, books, children’s toys, art & decorative items, holiday decorations, jewelry, and sports equipment. We cannot accept furniture, TVs, computers, printers, or microwaves. Items must be clean, in working order, and reasonably new. Items can be delivered to Beautiful Savior during business hours Mon, Tues, Thurs from 10-2. Proceeds from the sale will help support our Good Samaritan Fund, Youth Group, and other service projects. If you have any questions, please call Linda Prenzlow, Rummage Sale Committee Chair, at 414-517-1113. Thank you for your support.

The national ministry Lutherans for Life is holding its annual Gala in our backyard, at Concordia University. This is a meaningful opportunity to support and participate in the work of speaking truth in love when it comes to the many pro-life issues that our society faces.
Special guest Katie Coblentz will serve as guest speaker. Katie will share her powerful personal story of identifying as transgender in her teenage years, undergoing medical interventions and surgeries in her teens and early twenties, and ultimately de-transitioning and marrying a future LC-MS pastor. Her testimony offers a compelling perspective on identity, truth, healing, and hope in Christ.
The gala will take place on May 15 at the Center for Environmental Stewardship on Concordia’s campus. You can reserve a table and bring your Trinity friends or purchase an individual ticket through their website at Lutheransforlife.org/spring-gala-2026.
You are also invited to attend the next meeting of our local Lutherans for Life chapter, which will take place at 7pm on May 19 at St. John’s Lutheran in Port Washington.

Where do we get pastors who preach and care for us with God’s Word? Where do we get teachers who teach our children about Jesus in our Lutheran schools? Where do we get our directors of Christian education, deaconesses and directors of parish music? Set Apart to Serve (SAS) is partnering with our seminaries, Concordia universities, districts, congregations and many others to build a Synodwide culture of church work formation and recruitment. You can contribute toward this effort by taking this brief online survey at lcms.org/setapart-to-serve-survey. Please let us know how all of us can make SAS more beneficial to your congregation. It is important we hear what you have to say.

Anyone attending a Concordia University or Seminary, is a member of an LCMS congregation in the SWD and is preparing to be a full-time church worker (pastor, teacher, deaconess, DCE/DCO, DFLM, DPM, lay minister) is encouraged to apply. There are two applications required (District Financial Aid Application and Personal Aid Application). Both are available on the SWD website – www.swd.lcms.org/AID. Applications are due at the District Office by May 15.

Sometimes people in recovery find it difficult to connect at church. One of Trinity’s partners in Saukville hosts a unique service each Tuesday evening called Recovery Church. In AA language, Recovery Church Saukville is an “Open” speaker meeting with live worship music. The messages focus on recovery from drug addiction and alcoholism, and how the gospel of Jesus Christ truly sets us free. Come as you are for a warm, welcoming, friendly, messy, raw opportunity to be real with Jesus, our Higher Power.
Recovery Church meets at 7pm on Tuesdays at River of Life in Saukville. Contact Pastor Carl or visit https://recovery.church to learn more.

Christian Family Solutions (a Wisconsin Synod Lutheran ministry) now offers self-guided, online courses, accessible to all. CFS clinicians provide educational programs on topics related to mental health, relationships, parenting, and other topics related to navigating life in this world. These are no or low-cost opportunities, supported by donations. Learn more at cfslearning.org.
