Dear Trinity Community,
Thank you for the blessing, privilege, and honor of having served Trinity as principal and executive director. The past 8 years have been a beautiful picture of God’s grace in action. From conversations about potential school/childcare closure to a thriving culture that is still growing, the Trinity story is remarkable. God is good, and it has been the honor of my professional life to be a part of it. I look forward to continuing to be a part of this incredible community as a parent, member of the congregation, and, going forward, in a volunteer role as ministry advocate and advisor to our leaders. The best is yet to come.
Now… keep running!
To our students: YOU are the highlight of our campus. Your joy, your energy, and your perseverance are all contagious! I regularly tell visitors that we have one of the most social and friendly student bodies I’ve ever been around (and that’s not to say you just talk all the time in class!). Truly, the love in the building is felt. To each student in each grade, remember who you are: a child of God, loved and saved by Jesus, and continue to use the gifts and talents He has given you to glorify Him in all you do. We aren’t perfect, but we can keep running after His goodness, each day. After all, He has already relentlessly pursued you by Jesus own death and resurrection. Praise God for that, and glorify Him in all you do!
To our families: Thank you for your support of Trinity, your trust in us for your children’s education, and your dedication to raising the next generation of leaders in the love of Jesus. Now, keep running. Keep taking your kids to church (and if you aren’t already doing that, you should start this Sunday – you’ll be in awe of the goodness God desperately wants you to receive!). Prioritize service. Be sacrificial for Jesus’ sake. And be a teacher with us! We’ve said forever that a child’s education begins and ends in the home, and in our constantly changing world and the values of our public systems, this has never been more important. I pray that Jesus reigns supreme in each of your homes. That God’s word is read to your children daily. That you pray with your family. And that all else aside, you pursue Jesus first.
And to the staff: You are loved and appreciated. Everywhere I go, I tell people that Trinity has the best staff of any school I’ve ever been to – and it’s not even close. That isn’t to brag (well, I guess it sort of is), but it is a deep sense of pride for our team’s relentless commitment to getting better, to supporting one another, and to bringing Jesus to our classrooms every day. Make no mistake: we are not perfect. Instead, we own our shortcomings and joyfully press on to pursue excellence, improving one day at a time. So, keep it up! Go joyfully into the years to come, knowing God is with you wherever you go. And let His JOY be your driving force – nothing else. Prioritize relationships over policies. People over procedures. And keep being the joyful presence you already are. You are loved and appreciated.
So… keep running!
Our theme for the 2026 school benefit gala will be taken directly from our school’s vision statement: Relentless Pursuit. I hope our entire community can rally behind this and so much more, as God continues to work wonderful things at Trinity – because we still have work to do! And as long as He gives us breath, before we one day joyfully join Him in eternity, we can and should be living His great commission to us, to go and make disciples of all nations. So, LET’S GO! And KEEP RUNNING!
With Gratitude, and JOY in Jesus,
Dr. Seefeld
