Modern Heresies You Hear Everyday – Lent Bible Study Series
Join national speaker and Trinity faculty member Ryan Hansen in an examination of false teachings that pervade our culture, including catchy phrases like, “Live Your Best Life” and “Love is Love.” This study will help us apply Biblical truth to popular beliefs about karma, relative truth, and much more, as Mr. Hansen analyzes common phrases and even video clips from social media “preachers.” Join us in the gym on Sunday mornings at 9:30am from March 1-March 29th.
This study will expand on content that Mr. Hansen has presented at the National Youth Gathering under the titles, There is No “You” in Truth and Tik Tok Heretics.

Ryan Hansen has been a youth specialist for over 20 years, serving in rural camp ministry, urban mentorship at the Boys and Girls Club, as well as a parish-based youth minister and Bible study leader. He is currently the 7th-8th grade Theology teacher here at Trinity. Prior to serving at Trinity, Ryan spent 8 years as part of the Theology faculty at Milwaukee Lutheran High School where he received the Heartland Teacher of Merit Award in 2021. Additionally, Ryan had the privilege of serving as a session speaker for the LCMS Youth Gathering in Houston, TX and New Orleans, LA. Ryan is an elder at his church, Living Word Lutheran. He is married to his wife Connie and has two teenage sons, Silas and Ezra.
