On Sunday morning, July 27, Trinity will be hosting a food truck with empanadas for sale after each service. The truck is operated by a local Living Word High School family who are contributing proceeds of the sale to support Michelle Gillard, a missionary with Lutheran Bible Translators whose work benefits the people of Papua New Guinea. Michelle will be here with information about LBT, and is also making plans to present to our school students this winter.
We look forward to a delicious way to support her efforts to bring the scriptures into multiple languages in Papua New Guinea. This is the first of two such food truck events we will have this summer, with the second one on August 24 (but Michelle will only be able to visit on the 27th).
Too early for fried food? You can also purchase a pack of six fresh empanadas to bake at home for $35.
