School Core Values
Christ Centered
Jesus is the most important part of our school; everything we do and everything we are takes root in the cross of Christ and his salvation. Colossians 3:17, “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
Excellence
Whatever we do, we do it to the best of our ability and with the highest standards in mind. Colossians 3:23-24, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.”
Love
We love our students, our families, our staff, and our community; we exemplify joy, passion, and a welcoming atmosphere. 1 John 4:7-8, “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
Heritage
Since 1839, we have preached the Gospel to all of God’s children; we honor those who have gone before us, who have worked to preserve our school, and we work to continue a legacy of kingdom work for generations to come. Hebrews 13:8: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Family
At Trinity, we open doors to all of God’s children, foster togetherness through unity in Christ, and support parents and their homes on this journey of faith.
Romans 12:4-5, For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
Childcare Philosophy
Faith
We share the love of Jesus with our children through loving interactions, Bible stories, Christian songs, and dance. We pray at meal and snack times and model prayers of thanksgiving and praise throughout the day. Once a week, our Senior Pastor leads worship with the little ones.
Love
Our role model for love is Jesus. Love is spoken out loud and given through hugs, smiles, and encouragement.
Play
Children in our care are given space and freedom to be thinkers and doers, laying a foundation for learning and working on life skills. We invite children to explore their world in order to create opportunities for learning and development. Our caregivers provide mindful interactions and individually responsive care.
Nature
Children are encouraged to satisfy their natural curiosity, make discoveries, experiment, and appreciate God’s creation.
Trinity is blessed with 40 acres of nature to explore and play in. In addition to the playground, children hike in the woods in all seasons, explore the Little Menomonee Creek, and run through open fields. In our Creator’s Classroom they have fun in the mud kitchen, swing under old trees, balance on logs, create play stories in the fort, investigate worms and other creatures, and splash in puddles. During the summer, they are allowed to experience lots of water play and in the winter they have many opportunities to play in the snow.
