I joined the Trinity family in the summer of 2019. I graduated from Concordia University Saint Paul, MN with a teaching degree in Health and Physical Education and a minor in Lutheran doctrine in 2008. I have a strong Spanish background and love integrating other languages into my classroom. I have been a teacher for the last decade at an early childhood program, serving as the Kindergarten readiness teacher. I taught Spanish in several early childhood programs in the Twin Cities area, exposing children to Spanish and integrating components of sign language.
I have been married to the love of my life Scott since 2010. We have three beautiful boys; Levi (2019), Felix (2020), and Peter (2022). As a family we love daily dance parties, going to the zoo, and exploring parks! I absolutely love fishing and catching a muskie is on my bucket list. Fun fact: I love to travel and have been to the following places – many destinations were for missionary work – South Korea, Japan, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and 31/50 states.

Why Trinity? “I was seeking a school for Miles to attend in the fall of 2021 when I saw an Open House sign on Freistadt Road and felt compelled to stop by. I immediately felt a sense of trust and peace, and deeply appreciated Trinity’s commitment to Jesus, authentic and family-centered approaches, and balance and diversity in the student body. When the whole family visited for a tour, we felt sure that Trinity was the right place for Miles and our family.”
In her spare time, Mrs. Edwards loves to spend time with friends and family and catch up virtually with loved ones. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Daniel, since 2012. Together, they have one son, Miles (4), and one daughter, Audra (2). Catrina Kagerbauer
Creative Director
Catrina Kagerbauer
She began her childcare career when she was still in high school where she worked at St. Peter-Immanuel’s (Milwaukee) after-school childcare program. The numerous jobs she held throughout her early twenties prepared her for her leadership role at Trinity: nine years of retail, a teacher at an in-home childcare, a dental office assistant, a landscape laborer, a caretaker for her mother who suffered from Alzheimer’s and a nanny of three children for several years.
Someone once told her that God does not call the qualified, He qualifies the called. She reminds herself daily that God is ruler over her life and holds dear one of her favorite Bible verses, Proverbs 19:21 “You can make many plans; but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.”
Catrina has taught Sunday School and served on the Board of Education at her former church- St. Paul’s Brown Deer and in her youth sang in numerous choirs both at school (gospel) and at church (Joy Noise at SP-I). She served as Childcare Director at Trinity from 2013 to 2019.
Catrina focuses on best-practices, organizational efficiency, professional growth, and spiritual care. She enjoys spending time with her family, husband Aaron and children Xavier and Zoe, and closest friends, serving others through various servant projects, reading, the outdoors, watching cooking competition and reality shows, Christian concerts, visiting any kind of museum and growing closer to God through studying God’s Word and applying it in her daily life. The children call her TiTi.

I love caring for all ages of children but my favorite age is the infants. I love snuggling them and helping them to develop and learn new things. It is so amazing to me to see them grow and change into their individual personalities! Seeing the joy and pure happiness they have when they are playing are times I cherish being a part of their world. I joined the Trinity Childcare team 06/2022. I have 7 years working with infants in a childcare setting.
My husband and I have been married for ten years this June. We are officially a family of three! We were given the tremendous blessing of adopting our five-year-old son this past April!!! We have a camper in the WI Dells area and go camping as much as we can. We also love traveling but my two favorite places we have been so far are Sanibel Island Florida, and Sedona Arizona. I love photography and it is a hobby of mine. I love all animals but right now, elephants are my favorite!
One of my favorite Bible verses is Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called, according to his purpose.”
I am very excited at the opportunity to serve here at Trinity Childcare, caring for the babies in the infant classroom.

Currently, I am working towards my undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders at Concordia University Wisconsin. Once I complete my undergraduate work, I plan to attend graduate school to work towards my masters in speech and language pathology. Outside of my vocational work, I find joy in sports, outdoors and quality time with family. I currently play on Concordia’s softball team. I also am a part of Concordia’s Best Buddies program, which is a club that connects students with and without intellectual disabilities. Hi, I’m Noah, I am super excited to have joined the Trinity staff this fall. I started on September 8th. I have always loved working with kids and the biggest thing for me is how much you can learn from a child. Kids think so simply and wonder about countless things. I have helped out with VBS groups back at my home church in Schaumburg, Illinois and have worked with kids on different mission trips I have been a part of. This past summer I worked as a summer school paraprofessional in District 54 in Illinois, that experience alone opened my eyes to the education world and how important it is to help mold the curious minds of children. I grew up an only child, so it has always been me and my dogs. I have two dogs, Molly and Callie back home. Molly is about to turn 14 and Callie is less than a year old. Some things I enjoy doing, are working out, going on hikes in the beautiful world God created and playing video games. I used to play baseball at Concordia Wisconsin, where I go
o school but am now a student assistant coach. My favorite bible verse is Psalm 23:4 which says “ Even though I walk through the valley of the
hadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me, your rod and staff they comfort me.” This verse always reminds me that God is there and walking along the road of life with me.

yer. When asked the question what I love most about caring for children my answer is this; I love watching children develop socially and seeing their unique personalities emerge. I am joining the Trinity Team in November 2022.
I am studying Early Childhood General and Special Education at Concordia. I have taken numerous child development classes, and this is the second daycare I have worked at! I have also been a strong volunteer in my church working our VBS and Christmas for Kids programs.
Fun fact about me, I love anything Disney related! I even worked at Disney World for a period of time. When I’m not busy with homework, I enjoy playing board games and watching movies with my friends. I am newly engaged and planning my wedding for December 2023.

Coming from a larger family and being in the middle I have always had the example of my older siblings and opportunities to help with my younger siblings. In the past I taught swimming as an instructor at Mequon Pool. I have volunteered for Awana (kid’s clube) and at various church camps over the summer months.
What I love about caring for children is the connections you build with each individual child. It is amazing to watch and observe them learn and grow. I especially like arts and crafts time as I love doing crafty things myself. Providing opportunities for children to be creative brings me joy because they come up with fun, out-of-the-box ideas.
I am happy to be here and look forward to working here at Trinity in the Toddler Classroom.
