Melinda Neuenfeldt
I love seeing the “light bulb” moments in children. I am humbled and excited by the great honor it is to serve God’s children at a young age. From birth to five years children are learning and growing at a rapid pace. I have a passion for children learning through play and exploration and using nature as a foundation for just that.
I joined the Trinity family in the summer of 2019. I graduated from Concordia University Saint Paul, MN with a teaching degree in Health and Physical Education and a minor in Lutheran doctrine in 2008. I have a strong Spanish background and love integrating other languages into my classroom. I have been a teacher for the last decade at an early childhood program, serving as the Kindergarten readiness teacher. I taught Spanish in several early childhood programs in the Twin Cities area, exposing children to Spanish and integrating components of sign language.
I have been married to the love of my life Scott since 2010. We have three beautiful boys; Levi (2019), Felix (2020), and Peter (2022). As a family we love daily dance parties, going to the zoo, and exploring parks! I absolutely love fishing and catching a muskie is on my bucket list. Fun fact: I love to travel and have been to the following places – many destinations were for missionary work – South Korea, Japan, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and 31/50 states.

Faculty
Anne Watkins
I’m Mrs. Watkins. I have been born and raised in southeastern Wisconsin. I lived in the southern part of the Fox Valley to attend college and began the first 18 years of my teaching career at a public middle school. I took a little time off after the birth of my fourth child when my oldest was 5 to stay home with my young children. God changed my path to work in our church in the capacity of the nursery supervisor birth-3 and oversee mid-week programming birth-5. After three years, I transitioned into a 3K teacher where my children attended public school for four years. I was returning to stay home when my husband’s travel schedule increased significantly when God placed me back into a setting where my faith background and teaching background merged here at Trinity. Shortly after, my youngest daughter was drawn from public school to attend Trinity to grow in her faith as well. I love being where God’s presence is blessing our children growing not only academically but also spiritually!
I love watching children learn and grow while having fun! Preschoolers spend a good deal of time focusing on social and emotional development, so that they begin kindergarten with a great understanding of “how we do school”. My classroom schedule includes plenty of time for outdoor and indoor free play and utilizes a blend of whole-group, one-on-one, and small group learning times. Children participate in a weekly Bible lesson and also have the opportunity to attend a fun and engaging weekly Chapel service and two formal music classes! Learning themes rotate weekly to pique students’ interest! We will work closely together to provide the best experience for your children.
Train up children in the way they should go; even when they are old, they will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

Why Trinity? “I was seeking a school for Miles to attend in the fall of 2021 when I saw an Open House sign on Freistadt Road and felt compelled to stop by. I immediately felt a sense of trust and peace, and deeply appreciated Trinity’s commitment to Jesus, authentic and family-centered approaches, and balance and diversity in the student body. When the whole family visited for a tour, we felt sure that Trinity was the right place for Miles and our family.”

Greg Black
Greg Black has served as school librarian since 2016.** Mr. Black had spent the last 20 years of his W-2 life in Information Systems at Funjet Vacations managing links with such trading partners as Disney and Southwest Airlines. So, it was an easy transition in his retirement to manage the computerized book/patron tracking system at the school and to perform the ancillary tasks associated with library upkeep such as coding book purchases and acquisitions – to say nothing of sorting and reshelving those countless returned books! Mr. Black has an MBA, but administers the library as a part-time volunteer. He is grateful for the considerable assistance in moving the library to its current location below the church sanctuary, as well as in making it the welcoming space it has become. Both of Mr. Black’s adult sons were confirmed at Trinity Freistadt and still reside in the Milwaukee area with their families. Mr. Black feels he has been abundantly blessed by the Lord.

Childcare Leadership
Infant 1 Lead Caregiver
Sandy Brezovar
Hi, I’m Sandy Brezovar.
I take great pride in my approach to childcare. As a nurturer, I believe in providing a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment. Sharing my love of Jesus with the children creates an atmosphere that allows each child to feel safe and loved. I strive to create meaningful relationships with each child and their family to provide the best care that I can.
I began my career in childcare in 1999 and have assumed several different roles in the field over the years. I earned my Child Development Associate from Waldorf University and my Childcare Administration Credential from UW-Milwaukee. I worked in administration from 2009 to 2012. It was then that I realized that my true gift and passion are for infant care, and I have focused primarily on infant care since.
My husband, Frank, and I have been married since 2002 and have been blessed with three incredible sons. We enjoy being outdoors whenever time allows for hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, and long walks with our dog. When I can’t get outside, I love to snuggle up on my couch with my two cats to read a great book.
“There are many plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” Proverbs 19:21
Infant 2 Lead Caregiver
Jessica Heckert
Hi, my name is Jessica Heckert!
I love caring for all ages of children but my favorite age is the infants. I love snuggling them and helping them to develop and learn new things. It is so amazing to me to see them grow and change into their individual personalities! Seeing the joy and pure happiness they have when they are playing are times I cherish being a part of their world. I joined the Trinity Childcare team 06/2022. I have 7 years working with infants in a childcare setting.
My husband and I have been married for ten years this June. We are officially a family of three! We were given the tremendous blessing of adopting our five-year-old son this past April!!! We have a camper in the WI Dells area and go camping as much as we can. We also love traveling but my two favorite places we have been so far are Sanibel Island Florida, and Sedona Arizona. I love photography and it is a hobby of mine. I love all animals but right now, elephants are my favorite!
One of my favorite Bible verses is Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called, according to his purpose.”
I am very excited at the opportunity to serve here at Trinity Childcare, caring for the babies in the infant classroom.

Toddler 1 Lead Caregiver
Molly Alvarez
Allow me to introduce myself, I am Molly Alvarez. Trinity Freistadt has been a part of my life since I can remember! I was baptized and confirmed at Trinity. Growing up my family attended Trinity church and as I got older and moved away no matter how far life has taken me from Trinity I have always been brought back! It feels like home and I can say that as a whole Trinity church, school and childcare is a very special place. I have two sons that have attended school at Trinity since 2016 when they started preschool and kindergarten. It was a blessing to join Trinity’s staff in 2021, so much of my world was already at Trinity. I have worked with many age groups but find the most joy within the toddler and preschool ages. When life can seem dull and ordinary I find myself refreshed by the students I work with. Seeing the world so creatively, raw, and innocent through a toddler or young child’s eyes is a true blessing to my days. I strive and work hard at being an active and hands-on caregiver. You will find me making pretend coffee and cookies in the play kitchen, on the floor building block towers, I join in on every dance party, I will always participate in art projects with them, and I truly love sharing the word and love of Jesus with them. At home I love to spend time with my husband, our kids and our insanely handsome and smart german shepherd, Theo. I enjoy listening to audio books. I also love to cook or bake and to cuddle up on the couch to watch a good mystery movie or show.
My favorite Bible verse is 1 corinthians 16:14 “Let all that you do be done in love”

I love spending time with family and friends and discovering new music genres. A fun fact about me is that my favorite season is Spring.
My favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 18:10, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and are safe.”
ESC Lead Caregiver
Noah Hays
Hi, I’m Noah, I joined the Trinity team last fall and am super excited to be back this year! I have always loved working with kids and the biggest thing for me is how much you can learn from a child. Kids think so simply and wonder about countless things. I have helped out with VBS groups back at my home church in Schaumburg, Illinois and have worked with kids on different mission trips I have been a part of. Last school year I primarily worked with the early childhood students in ESC. I also helped out in the EC classrooms aiding a couple days a week. This year I am the supervisor for ESC and will be helping out in 4K, Kindergarten, and 3 rd grade. I am super excited to work with a variety of ages.
I grew up an only child, so it has always been me and my dogs. I have one dog, Callie back home. Callie is about 2 years old now. Some things I enjoy doing, are working out, going on hikes in the beautiful world God created and playing video games. I attended Concordia University and am now working at Trinity full time. My favorite bible verse is Psalm 23:4 which says “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me, your rod and staff they comfort me.” This verse always reminds me that God is there and walking along the road of life with me.

I have been working in the childcare field for over fifteen years. I have worked with all ages in childcare, but my favorite age is the infants. The last four years of my life I was a paraprofessional at a school for kids with autism and behavior issues.
I am enrolled in Concordia University bachelor’s program for early childhood and I am on the road to graduation in December. September 3, 2024 will be my first day at Trinity. I have two children, a son who is seventeen and a daughter who is eleven. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and I also love to travel in my leisure time. A bible quote that is near and dear to me that is about children is Psalm 127:3 “Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.”

Kiley Gaedtke
Hi! My name is Kiley! I love the excitement that comes with little ones growing up. It’s so special to see a child learn a new skill and to share the joy that comes along with that with them. It is also incredibly beautiful to see how kids love Jesus and I will forever cherish that I get to share His love with them. I spent several years being a nanny and I also assisted with my church’s Sunday school program prior to joining the Trinity Childcare Team in September 2023. I am currently a sophomore studying Lutheran Early Childhood and Elementary Education at Concordia University Wisconsin. In my free time I enjoy reading, exploring nature, and spending time with those around me. Fun fact about me is that I grew up on a dairy farm, so I know all things cows! My favorite bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
Gabbi Gaziano
Currently, I am working towards my undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders at Concordia University Wisconsin. Once I complete my undergraduate work, I plan to attend graduate school to work towards my masters in speech and language pathology. As a speech language pathologist, I want to work with children ranging from birth to even high school age. My work at Trinity Childcare will allow me to use my growing knowledge in language development and maybe even put my skills to work!
Outside of my vocational work, I find joy in sports, outdoors and quality time with family. I currently play on Concordia’s softball team. I also am a part of Concordia’s Best Buddies program, which is a club that connects students with and without intellectual disabilities. I find that my enthusiasm has helped me in softball and Best Buddies, and I am so excited to bring that to childcare as well!
Heidi Hahn
Hi! My name is Heidi! Caring for children is so important to me because I get to see God at work in the lives of the children & in my own life! Nurturing Christ-centered care is something I believe strongly in. Just as Jesus served, so will I. I love working with children because I get to put their needs before my own, disciple them, and watch them grow into the beautiful Creation that they were made to be. Last year, I felt the Lord calling me to a greater purpose & moved to Colorado for a summer to work for Eagle Lake Camps of the Navigators where I was an overnight Christian camp counselor! This past summer, I worked for the YMCA at Pabst Farms with their day camp program. There, I was a lead counselor. These experiences have made me confident in the Lord calling me to care for His children. I joined the Trinity staff September of 2024. I grew up in Nashotah, WI and am currently a senior at Concordia University Wisconsin. I’m majoring in Lutheran Elementary Education with a minor in Graphic Design & The Compassion and Care Certificate. I am the youngest of three in my family of five.
